Creating a Legacy

They always say the best connections are made naturally. Well I made a lovely one when I had a promotional table for Family Legacy Films at my local village market in Hagley. Like me, Miriam has had a career in the media and as a press photographer has an eye for a good story and something a bit different. Now she's working in audio, creating podcasts and loved my new business idea.

I'm travelling a lot at the moment so we set a date when I was back at my home and we could get together to create my very first podcast. Even though I've spent 30 years interviewing people for documentaries, it made a change for me to be interviewed. I loved Miriam's style which is very relaxed and chatty. Which is exactly how I love to work with people when I'm filming with my video camera, never any pressure and always conversational and hopefully good fun too.

Please have a listen to my first podcast about Family Legacy Films, about how and why I set it up and how I'm already helping people record their family life stories for future generations.
